Pricing Policy
Here at The Hockey Stop, we try exceptionally hard to offer the best quality hockey equipment at the best possible prices. Your growing support allows us to purchase equipment in large quantities, so that we can offer you the best possible price. We do not currently offer a price match guarantee at this time. Team pricing is available on items purchased in higher quantities.
Shipping Policy
As of March 1, 2005 , we offer FREE ground shipping (does not include the handling charge) on all orders over $149.99 in the Continental US. Please allow 3-5 days for shipping.
Unfortunately, due to the size and cost of shipping some oversized equipment...these are not included in this free shipping offer.
All items ordered online will ship by regular Ground Shipping. If priority shipping is required, please contact us and place the order over the phone ....
We do our very best to minimize the delivery time, please keep in mind that weekends, holidays and the day of shipment does not count towards the delivery time.
All orders are subject to a $4.99 handling fee.

The above charges are per shipping box. For larger orders we will e-mail you a shipping quote.
Any order placed after 11:00 a.m. on Friday will be shipped the following non-holiday Monday.
We cannot ship to PO Boxes, please provide a physical street address.
Orders that are refused will be charged the original shipping plus return shipping to us and a 15% re-stocking fee.
Accepted Forms of Payment
We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover credit cards at our store locations. Paypal can be used for online purchases as well.
Return Policy
***We will not accept any returns without an Authorized Return Number - please call 614.473.1049 for return authorization. Packages without an Authorized Return Number will be refused!
All returns or exchanges must be completed within 30-days of original shipping date. All items must be new, unused and in the original box and packaging.
Do NOT sharpen skates until you are sure that they fit correctly (sharpened skates are NOT exchangeable nor returnable).
Exchanges: We do understand that sometimes items do not fit exactly the way we thought, therefore, we will gladly exchange any product purchased from our site. Please contact us for return/exchange information. Customer is responsible for shipping costs in both directions.
Refunds: Refund returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee plus the original cost of shipping. Please note that the original cost of shipping will be charged back to the customer regardless of whether the original shipping was free. (i.e. customer orders an item for $150 with free shipping...the customer will receive a refund of $150 minus the 15%, minus $10 for original shipping)
Clearance/Closeout Items : Clearance or Closeout items can not be returned or exchanged and all sales are final. All clearance or closeout items have limited quantities and are sold on a first-come, first-served basis.
All products sold by The Hockey Stop are brand new, first quality (unless otherwise noted) with full factory warranties. Please check all items upon receipt, if the items seemed damaged or used please report this to us immediately. No returns will be accepted of used items! Please, when you are trying skates on, only wear them indoors on carpet.
All returns will require a return authorization number. No returns will be accepted without this, please call us for any returns or exchanges so that we can provide you with the needed information. Note, any returns without this on the box will be refused at the cost of the shipper.
Special orders, team orders or other special accommodations are not returnable nor exchangeable for any reason.
Jocks and Undergarments are non-returnable/non-exchangeable for any reason.
All tags must be attached and original packaging must be included with returned items
Composite Stick/Shaft Warranty: Each manufactuer has different warranties on their products for manufacturer defects. There is NO warranty on wood sticks, wood blades, or composite blades. For each company's specific warranty guidelines and policies, please check here.
International Orders
****Please note that the CUSTOMER is responsible for all customs, duties and taxes of home country on all international orders. When delivered, the delivery person may require an additional payment or you may be billed. This amount due is the duties and/or customs brokerage fee...this is not a shipping charge. Please check your local rules and regulations prior to ordering for the amount of these charges.
As per manufactuer guidelines, we CANNOT ship Easton or Nike/Bauer product internationally. We apologize for any inconvenience.
