Features: The new Velocity 4 blocker has been optimized for lighter weight and each component has been carefully engineered to achieve precise balance to provide for enhanced glove control and feel. The front board section is designed with the board having a slight forward tilt this helps to square the blocking surface more to the shooter to give greater net coverage. The board edges are beveled to reduce perimeter weight. This not only reduces overall weight but functions to bring the center of balance directly over the back of the hand giving even greater glove control. The bottom edge bevel and design allows the board to fully contact the ice surface while in a paddle down stick position and prevent excess wear. Large side hand protection features high density foam protection and plastic reinforcement for a solid protection and blocking surface, the side wrist area is also further protected by an air cushion pad to reduce impacts to the side of the hand. Ergonomically designed palm is designed with its own unique pre curved positioned to allow for easy stick grip and to keep a smoother surface to provide a more precise stick control. Side vented palm gussets allow for air circulation for heat dispersal and easy of flexibility. All new finger protector design provides multi layered protection over the side index finger for superior impact resistance with high density foam and plastic inserts. Full pro- spec design and construction adds protection and durability.
